In the video below, I’m outlining an example of how to think about the idea of “the technique inside the technique.” Simply, once initiated, what can a Krav Maga practitioner do to optimize his/her outcome?

As a guide, I typically ask (at any point in the movement), am I power, balanced, and connected to the interplay within the conflict in a way that allows me to feel what the attacker is doing or about to do? When you think this way and feel your way through a technique, it won’t be long before you uncover the technique inside the technique. Check out the video, and as always, walk in peace.
