You Know More About Knife Fighting Than You Think, When You See It As Fighting With A Knife.

So many people ask for knife fighting seminars these days that I wonder what is driving the demand. Perhaps it is the seeming increase in edged weapons violence, as covered by the media.

The truth is, I’m not sure. And, while I don’t profess to be an expert in edged weapons, I did spend a considerable amount of time in my early adult life studying the stick and knife arts (and subsequently boiling down what I had learned into patterns guided primarily by the principles of Krav Maga).

In the video below, I’m offering what I believe to be the most common sense approach in learning to wield a edged weapon. As simple as it looks, the concept incorporates active use of both hands and can incorporate a host of utilities in that concept. Take a look, and as always, walks in peace.
