On occasion, these variations create substantial danger in performing the prescribed defense. In this case, the threat is a handgun under the chin – as a right-handed gunman grabs and posts on the defenders shoulder with his/her free hand. This variation makes the redirection with the defenders right hand a high-risk movement. So, the defender must go into his/her toolbox and select the appropriate tool to defeat this modified danger.

    Great video Chief. Is there a slight delay for the right palm heal strike to avoid alerting your attacker to that motion? In other words, have you moved the gun with your left hand pluck before the right hand strikes?
