“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” -Sir Edmund Burke

As news coverage is dominated by the latest terror attack in London, it appears the UK has a larger and more disturbing problem in protecting their youth from gangs of immigrants perpetrating child rape.

West Yorkshire Police, responsible for patrolling the small community of Keighley, say they are investigating 179 new sex crimes involving 165 suspects.

Last year in this same small community 12 men were jailed for more than 140 years between them for the abuse of one 13-year-old girl, who the gang repeatedly raped over a period of 13 months — on one occasion five men “lining up” and taking turns to abuse her.

Situated just outside Bradford, Keighley has a population of 56,000, including more than 12,000 immigrants.

Local MP, Kris Hopkins, has warned that the town is “top of the list” for immigrant gangs targeting white children to be sexually abused. “I am very well aware that there are numerous white pedophiles out there and they should be dealt with just as harshly,” he told the Telegraph after the Keighley gang members were jailed. “But the sick model of organized groups of immigrant men grooming young white girls to be sexually abused remains a blight at the heart of many communities across this country.”

Child safety campaigner Angela Sinfield, based in West Yorkshire, said the number of girls affected in the Keighley area is probably higher than the figure the police have due to many girls being afraid to come forward.

This problem is not new to England. Similar accounts of wide-spread, organized child rape have occurred in other communities.

In April 2017, 27 men* from Huddersfield were charged with dozens of historic sexual offenses against girls with one man alone charged with 21 counts of rape.

Serious sexual abuse including the rape of at least 47 vulnerable teenage girls took place in Rochdale between 2005 and 2013, with girls as young as 14 plied with vodka, threatened with violence and passed around to men for sex.

Another recent report into child sexual exploitation in the North East of England and Cumbria by Dr. Christopher Hartworth commissioned by Northern Rock Foundation has revealed a massive grooming epidemic by Middle Eastern and Asian immigrants in the area with over 350 child victims of abuse—310 young girls and 40 young boys.

At least 1,400 children were subjected to appalling sexual exploitation in Rotherham between 1997 and 2013. A report has found that children as young as 11 were raped by multiple perpetrators, abducted, trafficked to other cities in England, beaten and intimidated.

The report, commissioned by Rotherham Borough Council, revealed there had been three previous inquiries into the reported abuse, though nothing was done with the information.

Professor Alexis Jay, who wrote the latest report, said there had been “blatant” collective failures by the council’s leadership, senior managers had “underplayed” the scale of the problem and South Yorkshire Police had failed to prioritize the issue.

Several staff described their nervousness about identifying the ethnic origins of perpetrators for fear of being thought as racist.

Revealing details of the inquiry’s findings, Prof Jay said: “It is hard to describe the appalling nature of the abuse that child victims suffered.” The inquiry team found examples of “children who had been doused in petrol and threatened with being set alight, threatened with guns, made to witness brutally violent rapes and threatened they would be next if they told anyone.”

I find all of the information in this piece appalling, though I want to emphasize one quote that should not be overlooked by the local Member of Parliament, Kris Hopkins:

“But the sick model of organized groups of immigrant men grooming young white girls to be sexually abused remains a blight at the heart of many communities across this country.”

Additional cases have been uncovered in Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Luton, Oldham, Northumbria, and Birmingham to name a few.

England, what has become of you? Edmund Burke would be ashamed.
