If You Think You Understand The Enemy ISIS, Think Again.

This is an eye opening account of the lengths the extremists are willing to take in their so-called holy war against us.

Simply put, their views don’t allow them to peacefully coexist with Western values and religion. And they believe awards in Heaven await them for their efforts. Most Americans are entirely ignorant of the determination and zeal with which jihadists plot and plan the demise of the West. As these methods are aimed at radicalizing their youth, the fight against jihadist ideology is unlikely to be won in the near term.

Preschool Age Children
A newly released video from ISIS depicts children—as young as preschool age—murdering prisoners. As in previous execution videos, three prisoners accused of being spies make videotaped “confessions”. The film then cuts to an abandoned amusement park full of ruined carnival rides.

The first victim is zip-tied to the interior of a tilted, spinning ride. A boy approximately 7 years old, is handed a knife by a black-clad ISIS member. He covers the victim’s eyes with one hand before being given a signal by the adult jihadist. The boy then saws at the victim’s throat and severs the head. When done, he wipes off both sides of the knife on the victim’s white T-shirt. The ride is then slowly spun with the victim’s head sitting on the floor of the interior.

The second victim is tied to the fence inside a ball pit. A preschool-aged boy (no more than 4 or 5 years old) clad in black is handed a small gun by the adult ISIS member. The child shoots the victim five times before holding the gun aloft and yelling “Allahu akbar” twice.

The highly disturbing video was distributed through publicly accessible Islamic State media channels, social media and file-sharing sites, including Google Drive and, briefly, YouTube.

The video of these young children is preceded by other recently released videos from December 2016.

Elementary Aged Children
In one half-hour-long production (from ISIS headquarters in Raqqa) child jihadists — boys approximately 9 to 12 years old — are sent on an exercise through an abandoned building where they hunt down and kill prisoners whose hands are zip-tied behind their backs.

Another begins by showing adults training in a bombed-out building, but transitions into adults leading children in exercises and young boys gleefully participating in a public stoning.

Like previous ISIS videos featuring children, the video argues that coalition bombing is a reason for kids to join the jihad and kill Americans.

There’s an app for that too…
In effort to reach even more children, ISIS has also developed a mobile application in which users blow up Western landmarks like the Stature of Liberty, Big Ben, the Eiffel Tower, and more.

The app is named Huroof, (meaning alphabet) and also teaches youngsters to spell out words such as grenade and rocket, according to Col. John Dorrian, the spokesman for the U.S.-led international coalition fighting ISIS.

The app “is supposed to teach them Arabic. But the words they learn are related to violence and extremism such as tanks and grenades,” Dorrian said in a statement to Iraqi News. Dorrian explains, “The reward for learning something in this app is to get points that they can use to select the terrorism target of their choice. Western landmarks that the child can choose and attack using a variety of weapons, including commercial airliners.”

Aside from being terribly sad, I cannot even count the ways these tactics are problematic from a military perspective. ….
