If You Want a Good Resource on Wisdom, Perseverance, and the Art of Living, Read the Daily Stoic.
I have to admit that I pre-ordered this book, The Daily Stoic by Ryan Holiday, in the hopes that I might find it useful and in some respects enlightening.
I did this knowing full well that each idea or insight or mantra that the book offered must be weighed against my own ethos and carful consideration as to its inclusion into my method of thinking and/or lifestyle. And, while the book provides a daily mediation for the readers’ consideration, the first day of reading and reflection technically begins in January 1st.
Yes, it’s true. I’ve read ahead for the purposes of considering the book for Kravology. I know now that it’s safe to fully recommend the book to the readers of Kravology as a supplement to your approach to training and to your daily walk. The book draws on ideas from renowned thinkers throughout history such as Seneca, Epictetus, and Marcus Aurelius and presents a basketful of compelling ideas in easy to understand language.
Therefore, The Daily Stoic is Kravology Required Reading!
