I pulled out an older but worthy book the other day, as I reviewed some material I had clung to a few years back.

As a Kravist, you’ll find this book especially helpful in securing the right knowledge for “movement training.” Properly utilizing your core is the key to explosive and effective movement–conecting the upper and lower body, harnessing the kenetic chain, and coordinating movement. Regardless of your stature, properly utilizing the power that your body can generate will greatly improve your practice of self defense.

The author, Mark Verstegen, has coached thousands of elite and professional athletes. His series of “Core” books is worth a look, as are his other books. I’d suggest you start with “Core Performance” and work your way from there.
