The simple truth is, as a Krav Maga practitioner, if you don’t have a powerful, logical and demonstrable reason for every movement you make in a defense, you’re playing with some version of failure in real world confrontations.
While being aggressive is imperative, it’s equally important to gain a cerebral hold on every movement you make in a defense, and vital that you understand the role each movement plays in securing your safety. In the video below, I illustrate an example using the knife and handgun take-aways. Enjoy!
